Sonesta White Plains Downtown Hotel

Well-kept hotel, I loved free breakfast!

Deluxe room was brand-new.

Breakfast was free, I liked almost everything.

i had beautifully maintained, brand-new room with a luxury bathroom. the service offered was good.

Quiet, clean place and lovely area. Thoroughly enjoyed quick check-in and late check-out. Besides, it offers good wifi to guests. The restaurant is great, serves quality dishes.

Nice business hotel with polite staff from cleaning staff to the manager.

The lobby is dated with a poor layout for busy lines at the counter. Was a mix up in reservations and was told the reason was that I used Booked.net and that the problem could be fixed of I paid more money.

My room felt cramped, and the bathroom door was a hassle to close properly. The shower experience was disappointing, as it lacked proper functionality, while the noise from the hallways made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Parking felt a bit questionable without valet service, and it would be more convenient if they offered a room service menu or QR code for easy access. Plumbing issues, like excessive water on the bathroom floor, suggest maintenance needs serious attention.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We were only there one night on the way to Saratoga Springs. The location was very important for us (300m to Whole Foods, 200m to Starbucks and 200m to Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus). The rooms are dated but clean and the bed is very comfortable.

The dining scene around Sonesta is a delight! Morton's The Steakhouse is just a stone's throw away, perfect for steak lovers. The Mix Cocktail Bar & Kitchen is a great spot for winding down after a busy day. Plus, the staff at the hotel were super friendly and the rooms were modern and comfy!

Parking isn't included. I had to shell out $20. Plus, I noticed a sneaky $24 'destination fee' after checking out, which supposedly covers the waters in the fridge.

This hotel suits me perfectly, with amenities like a fitness center, bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the friendly staff helped me find great dining options. I'll definitely be back for another stay!

Excellent overall experience. Ideal place with consistently courteous staff and fine food. Immaculate deluxe queen room on the executive level. Great location in grand central station, in the great area. Again, walking distance to The Westchester Shopping Mall. Excellent service, very good breakfast. Convenient parking, shuttle from the airport.
